PLEASURECRAFT ENGINE GROUP GIVES BACK TO LOCAL COMMUNITY

LITTLE MOUNTAIN, SC (June 25, 2019) – Pleasurecraft Engine Group employees provided boats powered by PCM and volunteered at two annual events with goals were to help facilitate fun days on the lake for kids – the Camp Kemo Lake Day and the Limitless Sports Ski Clinic.

Camp Kemo is Prisma Health Children’s Hospital’s annual weeklong summer camp for cancer patients ages 5 – 18 and their siblings. Staffed by physicians, nurses and volunteers, Camp Kemo allows campers to swim, boat, hike with many more activities. Pleasurecraft employees from both the Liberty and Little Mountain facilities volunteered on Friday, June 14th by driving boats for its 40th annual event. Campers enjoyed boating, tubing, and swimming on Lake Greenwood.

Pleasurecraft employees also volunteered at the Limitless Sports’ 18th Annual Ski Event on Friday, June 21st. It’s a day of adaptive waterskiing, tubing, kayaking, and swimming for special needs participants from the Midlands and surrounding areas. Pleasurecraft employees assisted in the adaptive watersports by provided boats to make this day memorable for its participants.
