PLEASURECRAFT VOLUNTEERS AT THE FUTURE HOME OF SCREAMING EAGLES

LITTLE MOUNTAIN, SC (June 16, 2023) – Today, 12 Pleasurecraft Engine Group employees volunteered at the future home of the Screaming Eagles Special Needs Athletic organization. They spent the morning installing chain link fencing around the soccer field, which is the first area slated for completion.

Screaming Eagles Special Needs Athletics is a non-profit organization in Little Mountain, SC that is open to special needs athletes of all ages and all abilities. Their goal is to provide an environment of inclusion for all of their special needs athletes and promote community involvement. The Screaming Eagles “Nest” is a new permanent complex that is being built in Little Mountain to be an “oasis” for local special needs children and their families.

Patrick Bowers, founder of the Screaming Eagles stated, “I started Screaming Eagles because, as a parent of a special needs child, I understood the need for more programs like this. Once I saw the excitement and participation from our community over the past few years, I put together a vision for this complex and I am so thankful at how so many people from our community have rallied behind and given their time and effort to help make this vision a reality.”

Trey Thurman, Vice President of Operations for Pleasurecraft stated, “I am grateful to have a team of employees who are servant leaders and jump at the opportunity to volunteer their time and energy to help such a wonderful cause. Our town is fortunate to have people like Patrick with a huge vision and heart for giving back and I look forward to the continued partnership that Pleasurecraft can have with supporting Screaming Eagles.”
